March 2: PTA Meeting, Starry Night, Folk Tale Contest

Here's what's happening Wednesday in Three Village.

Our daily "Five Things" feature is just one of the ways we try to paint a picture of Three Village for you. We're glad you're here reading each day, and one of the most important things to keep in mind as you're reading is that you can e-mail us with ideas for stories you'd like to see on Patch or letters to the editor. With that in mind, here's Wednesday's Five:

1. The Three Village school district's PTA Executive Council meets at 9:30 a.m. at the building.

2. World class players will join Stony Brook graduate students for a at Staller Center at 8 p.m. This event, part of the Starry Night series, will feature music by Mozart and Brahms.

3. Spring is almost here, but while there's still a little chill in the air, head over to the WMHO's Educational and Cultural Center with the kids for , a storytime event for kids ages 3 to 5.

4. Students at can enter a contest honoring their favorite folk tales, with an for kids in kindergarten through second grades and a for kids in grades three through six.
