Library Spotlight: Award-Winning Books on Display
Emma S. Clark Memorial Library's bimonthly feature highlights decorated books.
From Pulitzers to National Book Awards and more, selections from the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library's collection of award-winning books is the new feature at the library.
For the next two weeks, library members can browse works of fiction and nonfiction which have won the Pulitzer prize, Nobel Prize for Literature, National Book Critics Circle Award, National Book Award, the Man-Booker Prize or the Costa Book Award.
Among the titles available are:

- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, winner of the 2003 Whitbread Book of the Year and the 2004 Commonwealth Prize for best first book.
- Polio: An American Story by David M. Oshinsky, winner of the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for History and the 2005 Herbert Hoover Book Award.
- Three Junes by Julia Glass, winner of the National Book Award in 2002.
- American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House by Jon Meacham, winner of the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Biography.
