Jan. 31: Class it up with Shakespeare or a Benefit Gala

Here's what's happening Monday in Three Village.

As January winds down, there's a few elegant happenings on deck in Three Village, including a hospital fundraiser and Shakespeare film event. For more options, check out our daily events calendar, and if we've missed something, you can always suggest an event or add your own.

1. Last week's benefit gala for was postponed due to heavy snowfall, and the rescheduled party is set for Monday at 6 p.m. at Gelinas Junior High. Teachers and administrators are about 70 percent of the way to their goal to raise $10,000 for the children's hospital, and are hoping to cover the rest of the gap at the fundraiser.
