Jan. 10: Dance and Physics, Music and Math To Collide

Here's what's happening Monday in Three Village.

Monday certainly has got its normal lineup of educational and recreational activities, but there's one Staller Center event in particular you may not want to miss.

1. The recently-opened Simons Center for Geometry and Physics quickly became known for its programs in math and physics, but starting Monday, it will branch out into ... dance? At 8 p.m., check out the world premiere of a Simons Center-commissioned performance called , presented by the Barkin/Selisson Project with music from the Sirius String Quartet.

2. Do you enjoy playing bridge? Head down to the Setauket Neighborhood House at 1 p.m. for a .

3. Each Monday at 3:45 p.m., the Town of Brookhaven offers a session for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. For more information, call 631-698-3254.
