Get Out – Catch a Lacrosse Game, Party for St. Patrick's Day or Get Fit at a Fundraiser

A weekly guide to what's happening this weekend.

It’s Thursday and the work week is coming to an end. Now you’re wondering what to do with your weekend, right?  Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to plan or think about what to do with your free time this weekend?  Let us do the thinking for you.

Where/When: Velvet Lounge, Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at 10 p.m.
Why Go: On Friday, listen to DJ Rob Paterson spin and live musical performances by Hot Molecule and Multiple Mono. On Saturday, listen to bands Sound Grenade and Lo Fi 3. Drink specials and bar food are always guaranteed.
Price: $5 cover at door, 21 and over only

Why Go: Irish or not, you won’t want to miss this event. Between the corned beef and cabbage dinner, Irish dancers, beer, and raffle baskets and prizes, you’ll be celebrating St. Patrick's Day for hours.

Where/When: Stony Brook University (Student Activities Center, Ballroom A) Sunday, March 13 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
