  • CENTURIES OF PROGRESS AT THE LONG ISLAND MUSEUM

Where/When: The Long Island Museum – Stony Brook, Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Why Go: The Long Island Museum presents Centuries of Progress: America’s World’s Fairs, 1853 – 1982. This exhibit is one you won't want to miss. 
Price: $9/adults, $7/seniors, $4/children 6 to 17 and for college students with I.D. Event is free for Museum members and for children under 6.

  • DOUBT – A PLAY BY JOHN PATRICK SHANLEY

Where/When: Theatre Three – Port Jefferson, Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Set in 1964, this is an emotionally charged story about a Catholic school principal in the Bronx, who suspects inappropriate conduct by one of the priests in the school.
Price: Tickets up to $28

  • BEACH CLEANUP AT WEST MEADOW BEACH

Where/When: West Meadow Beach – Setauket, Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m.
Why Go: In support of Earth Day, come down to West Meadow Beach and help clean up winter storms debris.

  • LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE AT THE VELVET LOUNGE

Where/When: Velvet Lounge – Setauket, Saturday, April 23 at 10 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy a live musical performance by Cover Me Bad. Drink specials and bar food are always on the menu.
