Feb. 23: Catch Some Hoops Action or Take a Walk

Welcome to Wednesday in Three Village, a day perhaps made a little lazier by the fact that winter break is still in progress for public schools.

1. The Seawolves' regular seasons are winding down, and both teams take on Hartford today. The women's game is the only , set for 7 p.m. at Pritchard Gym.

2. For students interested in transferring to Stony Brook University, the deadline is March 1. For more information, visit their transfers website.

3. The Setauket Homemakers is a group for women which hosts a variety of activities, luncheons, classes and charitable events open to members. Its starts at 10 a.m. at the Setauket Neighborhood House. Some events are open to friends of members depending upon availability; call for more information.

4. Get to the mall and do some ... exercise? Stony Brook University Medical Center will be sponsoring a walking program at Smith Haven Mall accompanied by screenings and a lecture.
