Feb. 2: Delayed School Opening, Open Mic Night

Here's what's happening Wednesday in Three Village.

The closures and cancellations started to roll in on Tuesday afternoon as icy conditions began to worsen throughout Long Island. Heed the warnings of local weather reports: be careful when driving and leave extra time to get where you're going. Got a closure or cancellation to report? 1. Three Village public schools will operate on a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday. According to a message on the district's website, buses will pick up students at their stops exactly two hours later than their normal pickup times, and staff members should arrive a half hour prior to the start of the school day.

2. Some events at the may be canceled, including the which has now been moved to Feb. 16. Call the library to confirm your activity is still taking place as scheduled.
