Feb. 18: Teen Night, Tango Show, Town of the Week

Here's what's happening Friday in Three Village.

This isn't just any Friday: for Three Village kids it's the last school day before winter break, and for lots of grownups it's the day before a three-day weekend. Spirits should be running high if they aren't already.

1. It's the last day to enter the Ward Melville Heritage Organization's competition, open to kids ages 10 to 17. Performance opportunities and scholarships await the winners. Why not enter?

2. Dance enthusiasts have two chances to express their love for it today: a at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library at 7 p.m. (registration required) and a performance at the Staller Center at 8 p.m.

3. Teens, have you heard of Surge Cafe? It's the weekly youth night at Church on the Sound, featuring food, games, Bible study and more. The fun kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
