Dec. 3: Movie Madness, Candlelight Traditions, and Literature Come to Life

Here's what's happening Friday in Three Village.

Perhaps the theme for Friday is "light up the night." Hanukkah, the festival of lights, is still in full swing with a few events happening Friday evening; check out our in case you missed it. Six houses in Strong's Neck and Setauket will be lit up for the Candlelight House Tour, and the Dickens Festival lantern dedication is at 4:30 p.m.

1. The Three Village Historical Society's 32nd annual Candlelight House Tour begins Friday evening with a sold-out tour and reception. Tickets can still be obtained for Saturday's event, though. Click here for more information.

2.  Movie lovers have three separate options for cinematic action. In addition to the normal lineup of movies at  in Stony Brook, the  is screening two films – Cairo Time at 7 p.m. and I Am Love at 9 p.m. – and the  has 2 p.m. showing of .
