1. It was eventually determined that the which caused alarm across Long Island on Wednesday was not credible. But it did get many people talking about school safety and emergency communication. On Wednesday afternoon, a message appeared on the website of the Three Village Central School District reminding parents to update their email addresses in the online portal.
