April 4: Civic Association, Sports Night, and Stars of Stony Brook
Here's what's happening Monday in Three Village.
It's an action packed day to start the new week, with a star-studded fundraiser, civic association meeting, a night of sports competition, and more in our calendar.
1. Each month, the presents a new topic of discussion. Monday's topic is , with presentations by local law enforcement and emergency response departments. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at the library.
2. For Stony Brook students, "The Big Red Howl" continues Monday night with Sports Night at 7 p.m. at the Sports Complex. Students competing for "spirit points" can win them via volleyball, basketball, and dodgeball tournaments.

3. A fundraiser for both student scholarships and the Stony Brook Long Island Children's Hospital at Chelsea Piers in NYC at 6:30 p.m. will honor acclaimed actress Julie Andrews and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton – who is a bestselling author and faculty member at Stony Brook University.
