April 28: Get an Education on Solar Power, Wellness, or Shakespeare

Here's what's happening Thursday in Three Village.

As Three Villagers calm down from the excitement over Wednesday night's heartbreaking loss to West Islip in boys' lacrosse – for which highlights are coming right up on Patch – we move right along to solar power, a school fundraiser, a Shakespearean play and more.

1. Last month, we brought you an article about a in Three Village. You can get in on the trend by attending a free at Stony Brook University at 6:30 p.m. at the Small Business Development Center in the R&D Park.

2. happens on Thursday. And we're not talking about a fairytale wedding in a faraway country; we're talking about a fundraiser for a school right here in Three Village. Golfers and foodies will appreciate the outing at St. George's, which runs from 12:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

3. If solar energy and golf don't interest you, there's a at 7:30 p.m. at North Island Physical Therapy that will focus on a method to alleviate pain. The seminar is free, but advance registration is recommended.

4. The Ward Melville Players will perform A Midsummer Night's Dream at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the high school's LGI theater. Tickets are $8-$10.
