Allen Named Settled Minister at UUFSB

Rev. Margie Allen served as consulting minister since 2011.

With 154 affirmative votes cast out of a total of 159, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook voted to name Rev. Margie Allen as its settled minister on January 13, the congregation announced this week.

Previously, Allen served as the consulting minister at UUFSB since 2011.

In a statement, Allen said she is delighted, saying that the overwhelmingly positive results of the vote show that "we have a partnership in ministry that is working well."
