5 Things to Do this Week

A look at what lies ahead in the Three Village community during the week.

From bullying in schools to the state's tax cap, town board happenings to school board happenings, the Three Village community will take on some important issues this week. Here's a look at what lies ahead.

1. On Monday at 7 p.m., Emma S. Clark Memorial Library will host a free event called "Bullying and Teasing: What Every Parent Should Know." Call the library to register.

2. The Brookhaven Town Board meets again on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Town Hall in Farmingville.

3. The Three Village Board of Education meets on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Country Administration Center.

4. Head to Hofstra University on Wednesday to catch the Ward Melville High School marching band performing at 7 p.m. at the Newsday Marching Band Festival ($8).
