12 Things You Need to Know About Patch

Six months ago, Three Village got its very own Patch: a hyperlocal online destination for news, events, dialogue, deals and more. In honor of our six month anniversary Dec. 30, here's a reminder of how we can be of service to you, our readers and neighbors.

Ask a Question. Our Q&A feature allows you to throw out a question for the community to answer, or provide your own answers to other people's questions.

Write a Letter to the Editor. You can share your thoughts with your neighbors by sending us a letter of 500 words or less. E-mail christines@patch.com.

Shout it out Loud. Right on our front page, you'll find the "Shout" feature, where you can relay a quick thought or message to the community.

Visit us Every Day. We'll have new articles several times a day for you to read and enjoy, and you can get Patch delivered to your e-mail inbox each day or once a week by signing up for our newsletter.

Comment on an Article. At Patch, we believe that conversation is an important part of news coverage. We're all about engaging the community in a dialogue and encouraging people to share thoughts and ideas. You can log in and add a comment, upload a photo, even post an article to Facebook.

Explore the Directory. Each business, organization, and public resource has its own listing in our directory. You can find your favorite store's hours, post reviews of stores and restaurants, and look for what's nearby.

Announce it to the World. Did you have a baby, win an award, get a promotion at work, get married? Check out our announcements page, where you can share your own news with the community.

Put it on the Calendar. Got a fundraiser coming up? Are you a musician with a show in the works? Gallery show, wine tasting, dance recital, garage sale? You get the picture. You can log in and add your own event to our events calendar.
