Community Corner

FREE help with your technical devices!

Starting September 17th, local teen volunteers will be available in the Computer Lab at Emma Clark to answer computer questions and help you learn how to use your mobile devices including cell phones, tablets, and e-readers. This program will continue on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month (except holidays) from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
“Teens in the community are always looking for opportunities to earn community service, and there are many adults in the community who need help with learning how to use their mobile devices, so it is perfect,” says Nanette Feder, Teen Services Librarian.
The dates the tech clinic will be held during the rest of 2013 are as follows: September 17, October 1, October 15, November 19, December 3, and December 17.
Appointments are encouraged, but not required. If you would like to make an appointment, contact the Adult Reference Desk at 631.941.4080 ext. 127.
If you would like to become a teen volunteer, you may contact Nanette Feder, Teen Services Librarian, at 941-4080 ext. 116 or email her at teens@emmaclark.org.
