OCLI Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Grand Opening in East Setauket

 

Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 12 to celebrate the grand opening of their newest location in East Setauket. OCLI moved from Stony Brook to this new location and will continue to serve Stony Brook, East Setauket and surrounding communities by enhancing access, providing education, and offering personalized eye care. All of the doctors who worked at the Stony Brook office will maintain their current schedule in the new East Setauket office.The East Setauket location provides OCLI with a 5,200 square foot state-of-the-art facility featuring additional office space and more parking. This further investment by OCLI in their physical plant and equipment is a positive development for the North Shore of Suffolk County and allows OCLI to meet existing or new patients in a more comfortable and technologically advanced office. This OCLI facility provides eye care services for many ophthalmic specialties and procedures including Glaucoma, Cornea, Retina, Cataracts, Lasik, Oculoplastics, Botox and routine family eye care. OCLI’s ophthalmologists and optometrists are experts in their field dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and medical services for all vision needs.

I agree..maybe that is one of the reasons road pavement safety lines and striping esp. in the 3VRead More area are virtually non existent!! VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION that leaves the TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN liable involving accidents and fatalities. I think the new T.O.B. highway super, (D. L.) should make this a priority!

So, essentially that first residential home is being written off as the price of doing business.Read More There goes that property value. Other than as a professional residence, who would want to live by a driveway for that traffic? As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The rezoning is for the acres of undeveloped residential land across from Ann Maries Farm stand,Read More extending down to the wooded area on 25A. A one way entrance would be placed by Village Automotive and a one way exit would come out on N. Country Rd. adjacent to the first residential house.
