Fire District Meeting, Child Safety Seat Inspections on Thursday

Good morning, Three Village. Here's what today looks like in our community:

- There's a budget-related Setauket fire district meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the district's Hulse Road headquarters.

- The Setauket fire district is also hosting child safety seat inspections between 9 a.m. and noon today at Station 3 on Nicolls Road.

- Sunsets at West Meadow Beach are pretty spectacular, and today, you can spend the evening at a "sunset seminar" on the tidal wetlands at West Meadow Beach starting at 5:30 p.m. Water shoes and bug repellant suggested, binoculars recommended. Email egerle@brookhaven.org for more information.
