Craft Classes, Infinite Campus and a Letter to the Editor on Wednesday

Your guide to what's happening today in your community.

Good morning, Three Village. We're midway through the week, and here are some things to carry with you through the day today.

- Registration is ongoing at Stony Brook University's Craft Center, which offers non-credit classes to the general public in things like pottery, drawing, acting and bartending. Visit the Craft Center's website for more information.

- The Three Village Central School District is asking students' parents/guardians to make sure their contact information on file is accurate. According to a new note on the district's website, they are looking for your home phone number, cellphone number and email address. "This will assist us both in maintaining ongoing communication as well as locating you in case of emergency," the note reads.

- Coming up today, one local resident shares with Patch a letter to the editor on a local hot-button topic – the community's relationship with Stony Brook University. You can weigh in on community topics by commenting on other articles, blogging on Patch or posting to our community boards.

- At 12:30 p.m. today at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library, relive some of Broadway's best moments at "Lullaby on Broadway" (registration required; call 631-941-4080 for more information).
