So, essentially that first residential home is being written off as the price of doing business.…Read More There goes that property value. Other than as a professional residence, who would want to live by a driveway for that traffic? As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The rezoning is for the acres of undeveloped residential land across from Ann Maries Farm stand,…Read More extending down to the wooded area on 25A. A one way entrance would be placed by Village Automotive and a one way exit would come out on N. Country Rd. adjacent to the first residential house.

I read on a different website that the health insurance for the teachers is going up two million…Read More dollars. The teachers pay 15% toward their insurance. Why not have the teachers contribute more to their health insurance payments? The writer indicated that if each teacher paid $200 more a month, the district would save $2,000,000.00! That would save a lot of classes.

This should have been reported to the police. This isn't much different from yelling fire in a…Read More crowded theater. Does the theater have security cameras? If so, the person who caused this incident's image should be sought and sent to other theaters. A letter should be sent to AMC Loews corporate offices, too. This is completely unacceptable behavior on the part of the security guard, and theater policy concerning backpacks should be revised.
EG April 29, 2013 at 08:43 pm
Nobody should be allowed to take a backpack into a theater - Period! I hope you pursue this incident…Read More with corporate AMC Loews. Putting them on documented official notice of their inadacuate security policy might cause them to address the policy, for fear they could be found negligent should an actual preventable tragic incident occur.

I commend you Congressman Bishop for the proposed legislation and I recommend that you continue to…Read More push this legislation again and again. It is a shame that our government continues to handout billions of dollars to companies that are making billions on their own and don't need a public subsidy. Most importantly, drilling for oil instead of investing in new forms of energy is a clear example of the backward thinking of these corporate giants who can't see past tomorrow and are only interested in serving their stockholders and not the national interest. The subsidy does not go towards providing for our national defense. The US military stocks the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to cover our national defense needs. The Republicans in Congress are all owned by the oil companies, That is why you can't get your legislation passed. The Republican Party is the party of the business interest in this country and nothing else. Keep pushing this legislation and others like it.
