A clean trail is a green trail, and it was all in a day's work for several local service groups who joined together to clean up the Greenway Trail on Saturday. The 1.5-mile pathway connecting Port Jefferson Station and East Setauket sees all manners of foot and bicycle traffic all year long, and the biannual volunteer clean-up event has helped to keep it clean since it opened in May of 2009.
