Things to Do in Three Village: #53 – Learn About the Setauket Spies

The Three Village Historical Society has an ongoing exhibit detailing the Culper Spy Ring.

Each Sunday, the Three Village Historical Society opens its doors from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to display its "Spies!" exhibit.

"Spies! How a Group of Long Island Patriots Helped George Washington Win the Revolution" is all about the Culper Spy Ring, a Revolutionary War-era group that Gen. George Washington commissioned, which operated in Setauket from 1778 to 1781.

This family-friendly exhibit includes educational games, hands-on activities, and even a decoding activity based on the spy code of the Culper Spy Ring.
