Four SBU Lax Players Named USILA All-Americans

Crowley, McBride, Compitello and Rand all recognized after 10-win season.

The nucleus to the Stony Brook University men's lacrosse team – Kevin Crowley, Jordan McBride, Tom Compitello and Adam Rand – was recognized for its collective efforts by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Wednesday.

Crowley was named a First Team All-American for the second straight year after racking up 30 goals and 26 assists in his senior season. The midfielder was also recognized by LaxPower last week, and the Tewaaraton Trophy runner-up was taken first overall in the 2011 Major League Lacrosse draft by the Hamilton Nationals.

McBride, a fellow British Columbia native, was selected to the Third Team after a four-year career in which he recorded a school-record 175 goals. He capped his career with 41 goals and seven assists this spring.
