Crimes Nearby: Multiple DWI Arrests, Assault and Prostitution

The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests between July 25 and August 5.

Kyla Fortunet, 23, of St. James, was arrested July 25 in Commack and charged with grand larceny. Fortunet allegedly stole from the located at 126 Jericho Turnpike, where she was an employee.

Jessica Jaycox, 28, of Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested July 26 in Commack and charged with prostitution.

Adam Heller, 35, of Port Jefferson, was arrested July 27 in Port Jefferson and charged with third degree criminal mischief. Heller was arrested for allegedly punching the hood of a Toyota Avalon on East Broadway, Port Jefferson at approximately 3:40 p.m.

Russell Schaefer, 28, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested July 28 in Commack and charged with DWI. Schaefer was observed by police driving a 1989 Ford at 9:53 p.m. on Jericho Turnpike.

Carlene Badini, 45, of Kings Park, was arrested July 29 in Commack and charged with DWI. Badini was observed by police driving a 2008 Honda at 9:20 p.m. on Jericho Turnpike.

A seventeen-year-old boy from Centereach was arrested July 30 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with third degree assault. The youth allegedly punched someone in the face in a parking lot on Route 112, Port Jefferson Station. Reports indicate two other suspects are at large. 

Kevin Conley, 37, of Sound Beach was arrested Aug. 1 in Sound Beach and charged with two counts of public lewdness. Reports indicate the incident occurred from his bedroom window on Gardiners Rd. in Sound Beach at approximately 11:15 p.m.

Nicole Leone, 28, of Centereach, was arrested Aug. 5 in Kings Park and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Leone was allegedly operating a 1996 Jeep on Route 25A in Kings Park while intoxicated.
