Crime Report: Virginia Murder Suspect Arrested in Setauket
A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Three Village.
The Suffolk County Police Department's Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village between Feb. 9-15:
Clifford Parks, 22, of Norfolk, Va., was arrested Feb. 11 in Setauket on a warrant that had been issued for his arrest following an alleged murder in Virginia. Reports state Parks was arrested on Route 347 in Setauket at approximately 11:28 p.m.
A seventeen year old female from Setauket was arrested Feb. 15 in Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state at approximately 3 p.m., she entered the fitting room of a store located at 315 Old Town Rd. in Setauket and allegedly stole assorted items including shoes, socks, and cosmetics.

Lei Pan, 32, of Stony Brook was arrested Feb. 14 in Stony Brook and charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Reports state on Jan. 15 at approximately 12 p.m., Pan crashed her 2002 Mercury into a 2007 Nissan and allegedly fled the scene.
Evens Belizaire, 27, of Central Islip was arrested Feb. 11 in Setauket and charged with operating a motor vehicle without consent. Reports state at approximately 3 p.m., Belizaire claimed to be a valet attendant at Stony Brook University Medical Center and allegedly drove away with a 2000 Porsche with the intention of joy riding.

Kevin Vincelette, 45, of North Babylon was arrested Feb. 9 in Setauket and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Reports state at approximately 1:28 a.m., he was operating a 2003 Ford pick-up without a driver’s license.
Melvin Rice, 40, of Hempstead was arrested Feb. 9 in Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state at approximately 3:45 p.m., Rice allegedly stole razors and other items from Target in South Setauket.
None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, one must e-mail the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
